Dewsbury has been designated a Heritage Action Zone for 2018 by Historic England with the label: Dewsbury Living Market Town.
This is a 3-5 year programme delivered in partnership between Historic England, the Local Authority (Kirklees) and other relevant organisations
- including community groups.
