Dewsbury comes within the Kirklees Metropolitan Council area which is itself part of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) for transport services.
Both Kirklees and WYCA consult with local residents about development projects.
It's important for us to participate in these consultation exercises. If we don't say what we want then we can hardly complain if it is not delivered.
